Yes you read that right....the mail!! I have been working on some cards that I am actually going to send in the mail!! I have these ones done, and I'm working on some more, between other projects and work. I just thought it would be nice to let someone know that I was thinking of them and what a nice change from bills or junk mail right?! :)
And since I'm not sure which card is going to which person I figured it was okay to share even if someone sees them now. I wish I finished cards faster, but I do bits at a time, then change my mind on how I want to make it, then change my mind again LOL Also because I wanted to send them in the mail, I was a bit more careful on layers and how popped up I made things.

Here is all 4 of them together. All the flowers are done in the Distress Oxides and used my TH Small Tattered Florals, then glued them all together. |

Card #1 and some close ups of the details |

This was a chipboard butterfly I had in my stash (forgot I had technically) and the colour was added with the new Finnabair Antique Brilliance waxes! |
|
A Dina Wakely stamp and the Terra Cotta EP from Emerald Creek used as a background layer. |
|
Card #2 |
|
The word and the small bits of the Eileen Hull Eyelet lace embossing folder were embossed with Frosted Plum from Emerald Creek. |
|
Card #3 |
|
Look at that glorious Burnt Copper Leaves EP from Emerald Creek! It's perfect for branches! |
|
Used the new to me gorgeous Rose Gold EP also from Emerald Creek. I just used an embossing pen to colour the tiny petal parts on the Eileen Hull Eyelet Lace embossing folder. |

Card #4 |

This background was done with oxides and a Dina Wakely stencil. |

Another stash item I forgot I had, done with the Finnabair waxes. I wish the shimmer showed up better! |
Had so much fun making these, even though I changed my mind a dozen or so times!!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!!
