Tag #6 - Tim Holtz 12 Tags of 2016

Whew!!! Just made it under the wire!! I really have to pay more attention to my days! I had my June Tag almost completely done, moved it to the side of table and then forgot I had almost finished! Glad I cleaned up my desk and had time to finish it up! Still loving the learning process for me :)

I did not have all the products used so again, I made it work with what I had and I find that part is a creative process all on it's own, And what a great way to use my supplies that I may have been stashing away.

Even tried one of the only colours of alcohol ink I have to color my Emerald Creek button charm.

Thanks for stopping by and sharing this tag journey with me! Have a wonderful long weekend everyone!!

For The Guys

For this project it's all about the guys and Father's Day.  I am very lucky to have an amazing Dad. He's always been there for my kids and I, my son has been lucky to have my Dad to look up to and he's learned that when you shake someone's hand, it means you have given them your word.

My Dad will end up with this Father's Day card...good thing he's not very internet savvy, so he probably won't get a sneak peek!! LOL Dont forget to enter your "all about the guys" project at the Emerald Creek Dares Challenge!

I used my Tim Holtz Dapper die and then embossed the whole piece in Hammered Metal. I added back some of the bits that were cut out. I also used the gears thinlits and embossed the random gears in Hammered Metal and Burnt Copper Leaves.

I added the heart brad and put the letter D for dad in Sharpie paint pen.

I embossed the sentiment from my Fallen Blossom set in Onyx Frost and added a little dragonfly in the corner,

A close up of some of gears done in the gorgeous embossing powder from Emerald Creek.
